Global Projects

Orphanage in Dominican Republic student update

Several years ago our club met a wonderful young girl named Laura during a global project at her orphanage. As Laura grew, she kept in touch with the club. Laura is now a college student. She was in need of advisor to help her to qualify her as a law graduate so that's where our club stepped in. We were fortunate enough to help secure her advisor's fees so she can continue her studies. Laura will be studying the topic of an Ombudsman who helps defend people's rights in relation to state administration or public service provider. Laura is an inspiration to all of us and we're a glad to be a small part of her journey.
